BOX TRAILER

The Bateson Box Trailer is offered for hire and can be towed behind the VW Campervan. A normal car licence is all that is required to tow this trailer. The trailer is a 2022 modal, it is serviced regularly and is a fantastic ad on to your Off The Grid adventure.

Plated at 750Kg gross weight the trailer has a carrying capacity of nearly half a ton (500 kg). This limit provides a huge potential for loading up all you need for your Off The Grid adventure. The trailer provides that extra storage space keeping the Campervan item free. We offer outdoor table and chairs, outdoor camping stove, extra gas bottle, outdoor tables, inflatable awning, these all sit securely within the trailer. There is a vast space for personal belongings.

The trailer Model is a 120V Bateson Box Trailer. The trailer has a heavy-duty galvanised steel chassis with a waterproof, lightweight glassfibre body with an internal light. The floor is 18mm non-slip phenol coated plywood and the sides are protected inside by galvanised steel tying rails and the front by steel bulkhead rails.

A lockable lift-up rear door is supported by gas springs. It allows easy, clear access and offers weather protection during loading. Standard equipment includes full road lights, load securing rings, a front prop stand, a spare wheel and rubber side protection strips.
