Frequently Asked Questions
The campervan is run on diesel fuel. The fuel tank cap is located just behind the passenger door behind a small metal flap. On collection, the vehicles will be full of fuel. It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure that the fuel tank is full of the correct fuel when it is returned at the end of your hire.
One of our vans runs from gas and has an oven, hob and grill. The other van has a micro/grill/oven combo and a diesel hob.
The leisure battery is charged up when you’re on the move by the regen system and charged by the solar panel on the roof. The battery will last for about 10-11 hours. It works the USB sockets, fridge, electric tap, ignition on the hob and interior touch lights.
This means the vehicles main battery is never used for the above and is a separate system.
We recommend at every possible opportunity that you plug into a campsite’s electrical hook-up to keep the leisure battery charged overnight. We do supply the electric cable; it will be located under the seats in the boot.
The electric plug sockets only work off the mains hook up not of the leisure battery.
No, smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in accordance with the booking terms and conditions. An additional cleaning fee of £100 will be charged if this rule is not adhered to.
We supply a fridge and gas for the stove with every hire, as well as cooking utensils,
crockery, cutlery, pot and pans.
You’ll need your own bedding, of course, along with pillows, towels, linen etc.
We do offer a box trailer for hire; please see BOX TRAILER bikes are secure within the trailer or we can provide a removable bike rack that fits right to the rear of the van which can carry up to 4 bikes.

We are Dog friendly. Please can you make sure your four-legged friends are well behaved and they do not eat the inside or outside of the campervan. We believed they should be on holiday with you.
We love dogs! Just make sure they are well behaved and they don’t eat the fixtures and fittings. An additional charge of £30 per hire is payable for the extra cleaning that is required.
In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we have 24-hour roadside assistance. If the van cannot be repaired or replaced, we will refund the remainder of your hire period. We hope to set you off on your adventure with a problem-free Campervan, breakdowns do occur and are out of both parties control but rest assured we will do what we can to continue you on with your adventure/holiday.
Unfortunately, it is not. The policy that we have does not cover personal belongings. In order to keep the cost of the hire affordable, we cannot cover personal belongings.
Fortunately, it’s a lot cheaper for you to arrange your own travel insurance – in fact, we recommend that you do it for your own peace of mind.
Comprehensive motor insurance is included in the basic price. If you are unfortunate enough to be in an accident and we need to proceed with an insurance claim, you will have to forfeit the security deposit you have paid.
View our full insurance details in the terms and conditions. See our terms and conditions of hire, they are in place to protect you as the hiring party and us as the owners.
These are stipulations of the insurance.
We must see your valid driving licence together with two other proofs of address, these can be; Bank statement, Credit card statement, Mobile phone bill, Household energy bill Landline/internet bill, Council Tax bill, Water bill, TV Licence, Mortgage statement.
PLEASE NOTE ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE DATED WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF YOUR HIRE AND MATCH THE ADDRESS ON YOUR DRIVING LICENCE.
Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot release the van without these documents.
There are two ways for us to produce documents to check your licence for endosements.
– For the first, we will need your driving licence number, postcode and National Insurance (NI) number so we can check online.
– For the Second, If you are not comfortable with sharing your NI number you can generate a code online with the DVLA (valid for 21 days) — see https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence. We can then use the code to access your licence details.
Since the abolishment of the paper counterpart, this is the only way we can check for any endorsements.
If travelling outside the UK, we also need to see your passport.
Yes, of course. Please get in touch with us to discuss any additional days. We will try to be as accommodating as possible. However, please bear in mind that during mid and high seasons this may be harder to accommodate but we will do our best for you.

Yes, a security deposit of between £1000 is payable before the collection of the vehicle. This can be paid by credit, debit card or cash. If you choose to pay this on a card, We do operate a PRE-AUTH transaction, this is essentially a temporary hold placed by a merchant and reserves the funds for a future payment if needed.
