Meet James

James, is named after James Cook, the British explorer, navigator and Captain in the British Royal Navy. Like Captain James Cook, our VW Campervan James is a great explorer and navigator. James is the ship that will let you Live The Adventures throughout the UK and Europe.

James is a brand-new VW T6.1 Manual diesel 2 litre 150bhp 6-speed gearbox Campervan long-wheel-base Monte Carlo spec CamperKing conversion, this is new and has been professionally converted by CamperKing. (Jan 2022)

James’s conversion is to an exceptionally high standard and has everything you need to Live The Adventures be they both long or short breaks throughout the UK and Europe.

James is a VW Campervan Reflex Silver, he has upgraded 20inch Black and Silver Paradox Alloys, offering a luxury experience enabling your adventure/holiday to be comfortable while traveling in style. James’s long-wheelbase chassis offers that extra space over the short wheel models adding the element of comfort and relaxation.

Externally James has on his roof a solar panel, providing power to the day battery, this is also charged by the re-generation system as you travel in James while Living the Adventure, destination to destination to destination.

Internally James’s living area is finished off with Mocha Gloss furniture with Alaska Pine worktops finished with grey edging, his flooring is a hardened grey grp, finished with a mat providing that homely feel. His leather seating and pull-out double rock and roll bed are finished in Beach Beige Grey Strips. Below the bed, a storage cupboard is provided. The Rock and Roll double bed is rolled out/engaged in seconds, providing comfortable sleeping quarters for two adults.

The front double passenger seat is a 180-degree swivel providing seating for 4 around the eating/dining area.

Internally, James has a lot to offer. Pop-top roof, pull-out bed, dining table, driver captains chair, with seating for 2, plus driver captain chair in the front and 2 in the rear. Van will sleep 4 but has 5 seats all with seat belts. Within the kitchen is a double gas hob and full-size grill, sink, 50 litre fridge with icebox/freezer. Vast amounts of cupboards for storage, sliding coffee/dining table, Internal touch LED lighting system, mood lighting, Power management system 12v and 240v, Water gauge and battery level indicators, Auxiliary 12v fuse board for future upgrade, Double 240volt plug sockets (sockets work when external power hook up is connected), 16-amp battery charger re gen built-in, Onboard freshwater tank (20 litres) with electric pump, Multi storage lockers, Rear boot space for storage, power steering, leather steering wheel, rear privacy glass, 2 USB charging points, Bluetooth phone charging, blackout curtains, travel toilet.

James offers a fully equipped kitchen including plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs and cookware.

Externally James offers a Dometic wind-out side awning with telescopic support stands, a spare wheel located below the rear of the Campervan, tow bar with 7pin electric plug. Within the Cab the spec of James is as follows – Cruise Control, Voice command, App Link – Apple car play, Android Auto, Mirror Link, Bluetooth Phone and Media connection, DAB/FM Radio, Air Conditioning, Heater, Front and Rear parking sensors, Front Driver Assist, Electric Heated Mirrors, Alarm.

The video shows how to set up and dismantle or disengage elements of James such as the awning, the rock and roll bed, the rooftop and rooftop bed, water tank, webastos night heater, swivel chairs, etc.

James is a fantastic drive, the captains driver chair does provide a conformable elevated position, excellent for safety, excellent for taking in the views whilst Living The Adventure. James has 5 seats all with seat belts, providing lots of room for the full family, not forgetting the dog.

James being a Monte Carlo spec edition does obtain some excellent features. The high class yet campervan feel, does give a voluptuous interior with stunning touch spotlights, a cozy and fully practicable kitchen, a double bed up in the roof with a 200kg capacity. Should you choose to park James in any scenic site, just wait until you open up your top windows on a morning and you’ll be overwhelmed and amazed by the great panoramic view of your surroundings.

James has full digital radio, CD and Aux connections ensuring that your onboard entertainment is always as you want it. James has loads of storage space to hide away all the luxuries that you like to take away with you. He has an electric hook-up or battery power for going fully off the grid as you Live The Adventure
